Fished with three generations of Becks today, Patriarch Dale, Dad Phillip, and sons Jacob (oldest) and Sam the youngest.
And it was quite the trip!
We couldn’t fish where we wanted because of 25-30 MPH winds and serious swells and whitecaps so we had to find sheltering bluffs and hills so we could at least get in SOME fishing.
Managed to catch a few white bass, some short hybrids,a one big (13 .5 in) crappie and one nice 4.25 lb hybrid.
Seemed like everyone had a good time….well, maybe not Sam. He got bored with the lulls in between fish.
But otherwise, a good time with a good crew who were always glad to give me a hand with the boat when thing got hectic. Thanks, Fellas! Good job!
